Philippians 3:14 “I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”

Paul is excited within his assurance of salvation and he reaches out to all to follow his lead and share in the reward of heaven. 

What We Should Know

He goes on to say that a mature Christian who may have other ideas will, upon understanding the truth of God’s plan for salvation, understand their misunderstandings and hold on to Jesus’s teachings by living up to the truth. We face many daily challenges  to our faith. WE must hold on to our heritage and “press on” toward the goal.
