ASH wednesday
As we prepare to enter the season of Lent, we are offering two ways to receive ashes, an outward sign of the grief of our sins. Our pastors will be available for drive-thru ashes from 12 -2 PM at the Mahoney Street breezeway. We will gather in the main sanctuary at 6:30 PM for a reflective worship service to begin the Lenten journey together.

UWF is an international organization, a sisterhood acting in faith to tackle the hard work of the world without hesitation. Our group at First United Methodist Church of Plant City is growing, and is adding a new way to connect with this phenomenal organization: ZOOM meetings! Now women can connect through either an in-person daytime group or an evening virtual one.
The new Zoom meetings will be held on the first Monday of each month at 8 PM (with some exceptions for federal holidays). Contact Terry or Tracy through the church office for more information.
In-person meetings will continue to be held on the 3rd Monday of each month in the Educational Building Good News Room at 1:30 PM.
acolyte opportunities
We have "reignited" (pun intended) the acolyte program, and are actively recruiting additional acolytes for both Sunday services. This is one of the earliest opportunities for students to serve in the church, and is an important symbol of carrying the Light of Christ.
