HOLY WEEK
As the season of Lent draws to a close, we prepare our hearts to acknowledge the death and celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. Beginning on Palm Sunday, March 29th, we will worship in one blended service at 10 AM in the Wesley Centre. Maundy Thursday service will be on April 2nd, 6:00 - 8:00 PM in the Wesley Centre, with 12 stations of the cross, concluding with Holy Communion. On April 3rd, a traditional Good Friday service will be held in the Sanctuary at 6:30 PM. Finally, EASTER SUNDAY will be celebrated with two services:
Contemporary at 9 AM in Wesley Centre
Traditional at 11 AM in Sanctuary

UWF is an international organization, a sisterhood acting in faith to tackle the hard work of the world without hesitation. Our group at First United Methodist Church of Plant City is growing, and is adding a new way to connect with this phenomenal organization: ZOOM meetings! Now women can connect through either an in-person daytime group or an evening virtual one.
The new Zoom meetings will be held on the first Monday of each month at 8 PM (with some exceptions for federal holidays). Contact Terry or Tracy through the church office for more information.
In-person meetings will continue to be held on the 3rd Monday of each month in the Educational Building Good News Room at 1:30 PM.
acolyte opportunities
We have "reignited" (pun intended) the acolyte program, and are actively recruiting additional acolytes for both Sunday services. This is one of the earliest opportunities for students to serve in the church, and is an important symbol of carrying the Light of Christ.
