Luke 14:15 “When one of those at the table with Him heard this, he said to Jesus, ‘Blessed is the one who will eat at the feast of the kingdom of God.’”

Jesus was teaching His newly appointed disciples how to be effective as His witnesses. He did so with a simple parable which simply states, “Remember…. you can’t win them all.” In the early part of His speech, He said if anyone refused to hear, just “shake the dust off your sandals and move on.”

What We Should Know

Through this parable, Jesus reminds us that His house is meant for all comers and not for a select few. Let us combine our gifts and graces as one spirit reaching out to our neighbors.
