Devotion September 4, 2026

Psalm 139:23-24 “23. Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me, and know my anxieties. 24. And see if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”

These are the closing verses of Psalm 139 where David has acknowledged the omnipotence of God who knows all and sees all. David is overwhelmed by the facts of God’s presence, grace, love and forgiveness in spite of his personal sins.

What We Should Know

Through the profit Nathan, David took the first big step of faith as he repented of his own failures.
