The Blessed Life

Psalm 1

This Sunday, we begin a brand-new summer sermon series titled, Summer in the Psalms. Throughout the summer, we will explore some of the most beloved and impactful psalms in Scripture. Whether you are seeking comfort, wisdom, hope, forgiveness, or encouragement, the Book of Psalms speaks to every season of life and continually points us back to the heart of God.

We begin our journey with Psalm 1, a fitting introduction to the entire book. Psalm 1 presents us with two paths: the path of the righteous and the path of the wicked. One leads to life, joy, and God's blessing. The other leads away from God and ultimately ends in destruction.

Every one of us is walking one of these two paths. The encouraging news is that God has not left us to figure it out on our own. Through His Word, He shows us the way that leads to life, and through Jesus Christ, He makes it possible for us to walk that path. The blessed life is not found in following the ways of the world, but in following the One who is "the Way, the Truth, and the Life" (John 14:6).

I invite you to join us this Sunday as we discover what it truly means to live the blessed life. I look forward to worshiping with you as we begin this exciting journey through the Psalms together.

Grace and Peace,
