Psalm 46:1 “God is our refuge and strength; a very present help in trouble.”

Our life is filled with times of trouble beginning with the experience of birth. Starting school is a trying         experience for a child. Having to go away for college or the military or getting married and starting a family. Finding one’s place in the job market can be a challenging experience. Maybe it’s a medical diagnosis of    ourself or one of our loved ones.

What We Should Know

At some point in our lives, we will face circumstances we feel are more than we can handle. All of us have or will feel that empty and helpless feeling of being able to do nothing to change our situation. That is why God gave us the 46th Psalm….to let us know that God is our refuge and our strength in times of trouble.
