Yesterday in the 9AM service we dedicated a storage cabinet. Sounds kind of silly to dedicate a storage cabinet, but this one is extra special. Several months ago, Ginny Roebuck (on the left) mentioned to our head Trustee, Erwin Nesvacil, that she wanted to get a storage cabinet to hold supplies for Children's Church. Never one to do things half-way and knowing how flimsy store-bought cabinets can be, Erwin offered to build one for her. Unfortunately, before he could make it, he passed away. Erwin's sons, Rob and Jay, found James Bower (standing next to Ginny) to create the cabinet for his Eagle Scout project. James used the materials that Erwin had purchased and created a beautiful cabinet that Erwin would have been proud of. This cabinet will surely outlast us all and the dedication plaque will be a reminder to everyone that being the hands and feet of Jesus happens in many ways. Thank you, Erwin (we miss you!) and thank you, James!
