Luke 9:28-31 “28. About eight days after Jesus said this, He took Peter, John and James with Him and went onto a mountain to pray. 29.  As He was praying, the appearance of His face changed, and His clothes became as bright as a flash of lightening. 30. Two men, Moses and Elijah appeared in glorious splendor, talking with Jesus. 31. They spoke about His departure, which He was about to bring to fulfillment at Jerusalem."

I have a friend whose grandmother was of the Jewish faith. She had heard so much from him and from others about Jesus that she decided to read the New Testament. She put two and two together and the bottom line is…….she accepted Jesus as the true Son of God.

What We Should Know

I have heard many stories over the years of Jewish people who have accepted Christ by having gone on past Deuteronomy and read the entire Bible. I have often said that we as Christians are where all would be if they had not stopped at the Pentateuch or the Torah and allowed God’s Plan to unfold in their hearts. They too could know Jesus just as Moses and Elijah did.
