We Are Called To Be Disciples
What does it mean to be a disciple? Simply put, it is to follow Jesus. To strive to be more Christ-like. Honestly, in this world, we can never be sinless like Jesus but we can and should make that our goal. That is a big commitment that, frankly, we must recommit to every day (sometimes every hour on those really difficult days!). It means studying the Bible and learning from and with others. One of the most important purposes of a church is to provide that support through worship services, Sunday School classes and small groups.
Here are FUMC, we offer a number of groups in which to learn. If one of these doesn't meet your needs, consult with Pastor Stephen or Pastor Dennis - you might be able to start your own group!
