Acts 9:15 “but the Lord said to Ananias, ‘Go! This man is My chosen instrument to proclaim My name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel.”

The Lord called on Ananias to intercept Saul in the house of Judas. Ananias was hesitant because he had heard of the dreaded Saul and his mission to arrest the Christians. God insisted that Ananias meet with Saul because of the importance of his (Saul’s) mission to the Gentiles. 

What We Should Know

Saul (who would be renamed Paul) wasn’t even aware of God’s intention for him yet. Ananias’s responsibility was huge as it was now up to him to reveal God’s call to Saul (Paul). Is there someone on your heart God is telling you to tell about Jesus? As it was with Ananias, it could be the most important message you share in your life. There may be someone out there for whom your witness could be life-changing for that person and everyone in their life. Never hesitate to share the Good News.
