Luke 24:8 “Then they remembered His words.”

In this passage of Scripture (Luke 24:1-8), the women were shocked to find the tomb empty when they arrived. Fortunately, two individuals (apparent angels) were there to remind them that Jesus had previously informed them that He had to be crucified and on the third day He would rise again. 

What We Should Know

Our Bible is not merely a catalog of recorded historical events pertaining to God’s overall plan for His Church. It is the future as well and there is more information included than our tiny brain could begin to digest in one reading. The more we read, the more we comprehend. So much gets buried in the back of our mind that, unless we are careful, some gets forgotten and we need to be reminded. Each time we open God’s Word could be an important reminder of an important fact which has slipped from our memory. Read God’s Word every day and remember, He has risen!
